Binsfeld 5-Year Warranty

Binsfeld Engineering Inc. USA now offers a 5-year warranty on its TempTrak® rotary temperature transmitters. The transmitters are used on heated godet roll assemblies to communicate roll surface temperature from the rotating roll to stationary temperature control systems.

“Consistent godet roll temperature is critical in the production of synthetic yarn,” said company President Michael Binsfeld.

“Temperature errors cause quality problems including color and mechanical variations. With four or five heated rolls per position, and hundreds of positions in a typical fiber mill, it’s imperative to have reliable transmitters on every roll.”

The TempTrak transmitter features an all-digital design combined with rugged components and generous clearance between rotating and stationary parts. “We’re raising the bar with this warranty. To my knowledge, nothing close to it exists in the industry,” Mr. Binsfeld said.
