New Discharge Gear Pump from Maag

Maag Pump Systems Textron has introduced a new discharge gear pump capable of increasing rates for existing-polymer plants. The compact construction of the vacorex® MR gear pump allows for an easy retrofit for existing-Maag discharge vacorex pump models. The main housing dimensions remain equal to Maag’s older vacorex generation III / IV / and V sizes. By using the same dimensions, Maag has made the new vacorex MR design easy to install into the existing pump space so polymer plants can significantly boost their capacities. In addition to higher rates, the vacorex MR yields improved polymer quality due to operating at lower speeds. More information is available at www.maag.com

New Dual-Piston Screenchanger from Kreyenborg

Kreyenborg GmbH, manufacturers of screenchangers, gear pumps and underwater pelletizers for the extrusion industry, has introduced its new Valuline series dual-piston, continuous screen changers. The Valuline is a standardized, mass produced screen changer available in four sizes for up to 8” extruders, and is priced competitive with slide plate screen changers. The Valuline is designed to provide continuous operation, double filtration area and a low maintenance, seal-less system for the filtration of polyolefins, styrenes and other non-technical polymers.
